These monochromatic abstracts are from an ongoing series that explores opposites: macro and micro; light and dark; growth and decay; energy and stillness. They often relate back to the natural world but not in any specific way. Composed of archetypal shapes such as ellipses, circles and waves – arcing – dissecting – erasing – merging – to create new forms as well as exploring the dichotomy of depicting forms in space on the 2 dimensional surface of the canvas.
